We’re looking for a skilled Java Developer who combines strong backend development expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD and deployment practices.In this role, you’ll design and build scalable backend systems, contribute to automation and continuous integration pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery. 

Responsibilities

Software Development 

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices following modern architecture and design patterns.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with JUnit, Mockito, and similar frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability. 

 

CI/CD and DevOps Collaboration 

  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Work with containerization tools (Docker) and deploy services to Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to streamline deployment and environment management.
  • Apply GitFlow and other version control best practices for branching, merging, and release management.
  • Support automation and delivery processes to ensure consistent, high-quality releases. 

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience building and integrating microservices and REST APIs.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tooling.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 

 

Nice to Have: 

 

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). 

  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
