We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our US team and lead the implementation of the Accela Civic Platform. In this role, you’ll spearhead a transformative initiative with an East Coast county government—modernizing civic services from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery excellence while navigating scope, timelines, and stakeholder priorities.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, brings a strong technical or domain understanding, and enjoys driving value through effective communication, risk management, and team leadership.

If you're passionate about digital transformation and civic innovation, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Define goals, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop robust project plans aligned with Earned Value Management (EVM), resource allocations, and timelines. Continuously track progress, manage constraints, and address deviations proactively.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for clients and vendors. Translate business needs into clear project objectives, and maintain alignment across internal teams and external partners.

  • Budget & Cost Control: Own the budget lifecycle—forecasting, tracking, and optimizing expenditures while maintaining quality and alignment with goals.

  • Risk & Quality Management: Lead risk assessments and enforce quality standards. Respond swiftly to challenges, ensuring minimal disruption and consistent outcomes.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Keep stakeholders informed through precise documentation and performance metrics. Provide clear, timely reports and maintain transparency throughout the project.

  • Accela Implementation: Manage the full lifecycle of the Accela Civic Platform rollout—from configuration and workflow setup to system integration and user training.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Accela Civic Platform (mandatory)

  • Expertise in scope, schedule, and risk management

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills—including negotiation and vendor coordination

  • Solid grasp of delivery frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively across phases

  • Strategic mindset with analytical and problem-solving acumen

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in team coordination and conflict resolution

  • Hands-on knowledge of tools like JIRA, Trello, MS Project, or similar

  • Comfort with modern digital tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot) for smarter documentation and decision-making

Bonus Skills That Set You Apart

  • Scripting or programming familiarity (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)

  • ITIL Certification

  • Accela Certified Professional or equivalent credentials
