Responsibilities

Are you an experienced AWS Cloud Developer with 6+ years of hands-on software development experience? Do you excel in leading projects from concept to production, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality solutions? Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development on AWS: Develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and S3.
  • Project Feature Delivery: Independently implement and troubleshoot project features, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • CI/CD & DevSecOps: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, apply DevSecOps practices, and create automation scripts for seamless deployments.
  • Database Management: Optimize SQL schemas and NoSQL solutions (e.g., DynamoDB), understanding trade-offs and performance considerations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other Cloud Developers, Architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers, advocate for best practices, and contribute to team-level improvements.
  • Solution Design: Identify technical solutions, provide feedback, and implement new tools or frameworks to improve project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, manage performance and integration tests, and troubleshoot performance issues in distributed system

Qualifications

Technical Skills You’ll Need:

  • Proficiency in AWS Services: EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, API Gateway, IAM, DynamoDB.
  • Programming Languages: Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, with working knowledge of Python and Java.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with CDK or similar tools for automating AWS infrastructure.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Deep understanding of pipelines (Git, AWS CI/CD) and experience with CloudWatch and SQS.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of AWS CloudTrail, Cognito, SageMaker, Systems Manager, or AWS Certified Developer certification is a plus.

Teaming & Consulting:

  • Client Interaction: Clear communication and professional behavior are key, especially in client-facing roles. You'll be engaging with clients directly, making your ability to explain technical concepts and build relationships critical for success.
  • Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as scrums, planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Collaboration: Foster a positive team atmosphere, work with cross-functional teams, and always aim to add value to the project or team.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Software, Cloud, or Platform Engineer.
  • Expertise in both functional and object-oriented programming methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to apply them in a client consulting context.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize distributed cloud systems.

  • Some travel may be required depending on client engagements or internal meetings.
  • This is a remote role, but in-person work may be required based on client needs.
